Internship Details

 

The Edmond Miracle League internship provides a hands-on opportunity assisting with public relations and communications in a nonprofit organization. The Edmond Miracle League is looking for a responsible, hardworking individual who has a passion for nonprofit work.  Interns will assist in research, project planning, league organization, social media, volunteer coordination  and copy writing for the league.

 

Applicants should have or be pursuing a degree in public relations, journalism, advertising or communications. Strong writing, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.  Basic graphic design skills, experience with the Microsoft Office suite and email are also required. Experience with Adobe Suite software such such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is preferred.

 

The internship will take place in Edmond, and be for the spring semester from January through May. Interns will be expected to work 20 hours per week, and consideration to the applicant’s schedule will be given.
